Allyssa Blair is a Project Manager at the Center for Microbiome Innovation (CMI) at UC San Diego. She joined CMI in 2022 with a background in research compliance, more extensively in IRB regulations involving human subject rights and protections. Her contribution to the Microsetta Initiative includes coordinating and providing communication between cross-functional teams to implement new changes and develop new processes for improvement through thoughtful collaboration, planning, and organizing. She enjoys creating order in chaos and managing projects with enthusiasm and good energy. In her free time, Allyssa enjoys traveling with her family, trying new restaurants, staying active through yoga strength, and cooking like she’s the next Food Network star.
